
Blue Origin is well known space company. it has introduced New Shepard rocket for space tourism. This rocket will carry passengers into suborbital space in a crew capsule. There are six enormous viewing window screens in the capsule, one for each seat.
Blue Origin has successfully launched its third New Shepard flight in which first two flights include four crew members. Now It is first time that Blue Origin successfully launched a space flight with six crew with New Shepard on 11 December, 2021 at West Texas. The passengers include in this space flight were Michael Strahan, Alan Shepard’s daughter Laura Shepard Churchley, Lane Bess, Cameron Bess, Evan Dick and Dylan Taylor.
Two passengers of Blue Origin were guests. Laura Shepard Churchley who is the eldest daughter of Alan Shepard who the first American to journey to space in 1961. Michael Strahan is 2nd guest of the flight who is a former professional football player and currently he is a TV personality. The other four paid for their seats. Blue Origin is going to launch its fourth flight in 2022. Let’s see who will be lucky one to go on next flight.
Virgin Galactic has also chosen the winner of a contest to travel on a future SpaceShipTwo suborbital mission. Keisha Schahaff of Antigua won two tickets in a contest held by Virgin Galactic in conjunction with a charity fundraising platform. Schahaff was one of 164,338 people who bought lottery tickets.
Schahaff will be the first Caribbean customer among Virgin Galactic’s 700 existing customers. She stated in the trip’s business release that she hoped her daughter, an astrophysics student, will occupy the other seat. The winners would fly on an initial Virgin Galactic commercial trip as stated by the firm after its July 11 trip that transported company founder Richard Branson to space. SpaceShipTwo flight date has yet to be announced by Virgin Galactic.
