With the growing earth’s population and all the damage that we’ve done so far – It’s time to tackle the situation. Deep inside we all are looking for a peaceful yet resourceful place to live rest of our lives. We all want to avoid daily hustle of this growing traffic, all the pollution that industries are producing everyday.

Here comes the Elon Musk’s plan to build a city on Mars. Therefore, if he gets success, we will have an option to move to mars.

The SpaceX CEO has a long-standing vision of establishing a city on the Red Planet. It’d be self sustaining and would be home for 1 million people. Eventually, it’d transform humanity into a multi-planet species. Most probably, it is Elon Musk’s most ambitious goal.

It’s about believing in the future and thinking that the future would be better than the past. Musk said at the International Astronautical Conference 2017 in Adelaide, Australia. I can’t think of anything more exciting than going out there and being among the stars.

About Mars City

This city is not just for the scientists and researchers. The SpaceX CEO is planning to build a full-size city on Mars’s surface. All the interested people could move there and they can pay their flight expenses with a loan. Wait what does it mean – paying expenses with load?

Yes, once you reach there, you can pay the debt by working in anything from iron foundries to pizzerias. Because there could be labor shortages for a long time.

Musk estimated in 2019 that it would take around one million tons of cargo to build a self-sustaining city on Mars. Assuming it costs $100,000 per ton to send cargo to Mars with the upcoming Starship, that would put a Mars city’s price at around $100 billion. At the high end, Musk estimates it could cost around $10 trillion.

The idea took on new form in 2016, when he gave a speech at the International Astronautical Congress about his idea to make humanity into a multi-planet species.
